Stress and Anxiety
Phobias. (a seemingly irrational and bizarre fear of a specific object or situation), general fears and anxiety can impair the ability to function well and limit everyday life. Many people suffer in silence and don’t want to admit to their feelings.
What if there is a safe, easy way to reduce the intensity of these feelings? so that you can gain back self control; greater self confidence, cope better with challenging situations; stop avoiding the object, or situation; have relief from your fear and greater freedom. For example conquering a fear of flying can open up the rest of the world to explore; breaking the pattern of exam nerves so that they can be taken calmly, confidently, and when in a calm state performance is greatly improved.
You will not be expected to confront your fear until the overwhelming feelings have been neutralised and you can imagine yourself vividly confronting the object or situation without any fear response.
Anxiety. Severe or prolonged anxiety often leads to depression, so it is important to tackle this issue as soon as possible.
Counselling and/or EFT provides the tools to tackle feelings of anxiety directly whenever they arise and enables you to find and release the cause of the anxiety.
STRESS. Stress often moves from a pressure some people thrive on to feeling pressured and overwhelmed and out of control.
Counselling and/or EFT helps you stay calm and feel more at peace with yourself, so that you are able to look at your life in a different way and have greater choice. EFT is a tool you will have for use on a daily basis for life and EFT combined with Life Coaching and counselling can enable you to find your own coping strategies. |
